About Radical Economics Network

In seeking to establish a common platform on the left wing of the
political spectrum, we have chosen the name Radical Economics Network. By providing an arena for the discussion of topics such as the social and economic impact of WTO, GATS and TRIPS, pension reform and other economic phenomena, we aim to contribute towards a more balanced debate.

We intend to be a network both for economists and students of economics. Rather than seeking a consensus view, we aim for real discussions providing for academic insights in the economic debate. In parallel, however, we will concentrate on specific projects seeking to provide alternative solutions.
